Data Protection

1. Security Architecture and System Access

Mint B2B Solutions follows a secure approach to accessing and processing client information. Our team can work through secure access methods agreed with each client, which may include Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) solutions where preferred, as well as other authorised and secure system access arrangements.

Where VDI is used, our specialists access client environments through secure remote desktop connections, helping maintain data security and controlled access in line with client requirements and applicable Australian privacy obligations.

2. Physical Security Controls

Our Sri Lankan operations centre maintains physical security measures to help protect confidential information and prevent unauthorised access, including:

  • Biometric-controlled access for authorised personnel entering secure operational areas.
  • 24/7 CCTV monitoring across office premises and key access points.
  • Controlled visitor access and monitoring of external personnel entering the premises.
  • Clean-desk practices to help protect confidential information within operational areas.

3. Digital System Security

Our systems are supported by security measures designed to protect confidential information and reduce the risk of unauthorised access or data transfer, including:

  • Blocked USB storage ports to help prevent unauthorised transfer of data.
  • Restricted network access and security controls to protect client information.
  • Secure password policies and multi-factor authentication where supported by client systems.
  • Bitdefender endpoint protection and security monitoring across operational devices.
  • Controlled access to systems based on authorized user permissions.
  • Restrictions on mobile phones and personal recording devices within operational work areas.

4. Team Vetting and Training

Our team members undergo appropriate onboarding and training processes to ensure they understand their responsibilities when handling confidential information, including:

  • Training on data security, privacy, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Awareness of company policies and procedures relating to the secure handling of client information.
  • Access to systems and information provided based on their role and business requirements.
  • Ongoing guidance and updates on security practices and compliance responsibilities.
